Magas is one of the most traditional Gujarati Indian Sweet. Made with ghee (clarified butter) and besan. Magas is a perfect mithai to make in bulk and gift it for festivals especially Diwali.You will get grainy texture in every bite because of the coarse chickpea flour. Yes traditionally coarse variety is used to make magas.
